Emmaus Winter Snowblast Festival

Join us for the COOLEST winter celebration in the Lehigh Valley on Friday January 18 and January 19, 2008.

Emmaus is the perfect backdrop for a two days of merry-making marked with invigorating winter exercise, recreation, and entertainment. The secret to surviving the shorter days of winter is to get outside and have a blast- a SnowBlast!

The schedule of events is packed with free, community-wide outdoor and indoor activities, as well as an affordably priced ticket for the SnowBlast Blizzard Ball. The festivities are designed to be pure fun for two days with more than a dozen family and adult activities planned.

Join us for the Snowblast Blizzard Ball on Saturday, Jan. 19 from 8-11 P.M. to benefit the Emmaus Arts Commission. Back by popular demand, that raucous rock 'n roll band, Class Act! Tickets $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Club 316, Main Street, Emmaus. Go to www.snowblast.com

2007 Emmaus Student Horror Film Festival Winners Announced

Congratulations to all the students who participated in our 3rd Annual Student Horror Film Festival. The work, discipline and dedication to their craft really showed in the theater. With more time this year we saw improvements in lighting, sound, story and direction. I would like to thank everyone who made this festival a success, the students, teachers and parents. The Emmaus Arts Commission would like to thank all the support we received from our sponsors, Merge, Lehigh Valley College, PTD, Service Electric TV, PA Council of the Arts, Peach Pit Press and Yocco's.
