2007 Emmaus Student Horror Film Festival Winners Announced

Congratulations to all the students who participated in our 3rd Annual Student Horror Film Festival. The work, discipline and dedication to their craft really showed in the theater. This year’s movies made it very difficult to pick winners in each category which means that the work is continually improving. With more time this year we saw improvements in lighting, sound, story and direction. I would like to thank everyone who made this festival a success, the students, teachers and parents. The Emmaus Arts Commission would like to thank all the support we received from our sponsors, Merge, Lehigh Valley College, PTD, Service Electric TV, PA Council of the Arts, Peach Pit Press and Yocco's. Here are the winners:
Best Use of Required Lines: Alex Reinhard, Marc & Joey Kubushefski of Lehigh Carbon Community College (Hitchhiker)
Best Editing: Chris Egbert from Bethlehem Catholic (Book of the Dammed)
Best Cinematography: Ryan Verbel, Joe Hund, Brian Morressey from Temple University (The Field)
Best Story: Dana Rivera, Kelly Glusiec, Chrissy Miller, Maggie Stewart (The Journal) from East Stroudsburg High.
